St. Paul's Ministries

At St. Paul's we have a diverse population of Northern Virginians with all different ages and backgrounds. We also understand that they currently live in an area where isolation of families and individuals has become the norm. Long commuting times, transient neighbors, diverse cultures and over commitments are just some of the factors isolating Northern Virginians.

Furthermore, we believe that there are two essential truths about ministry:

  1. As Christians, we need the family ties of the Church Body; we need mechanisms to grow in faith and to serve.
  2. Participating in ministry does not add to the burden of "one more thing to do", but rather replenishes and refills us spiritually, mentally and physically. Even if our role in the ministry is giving rather than receiving.

To meet the needs of our parishioners, we have many different ministries available. They exist to connect people in a regular small group community in order to create an environment for unity, spiritual growth, pastoral care and meaningful service.

Click the links to the left or below to explore the different types of ministries that are available at St. Paul's. To join one of these ministries, you may just show up on its regularly scheduled time (visitors are always welcome). If you have any additional questions or are not comfortable just showing up, please feel free to contact us at any time.
